Jeff Fisher’s Pac-10 roots are showing. The USC alum picked two guys on the second day of the draft who hail from the University of California, and with their last selection in the 4th round, the Titans chose a guy named Stanford.
Keglar is a physical specimen at LB, possessing a great work ethic as well as good speed. He is another hard worker who will probably provide some assistance to the Titans’ special teams unit.
Keglar is described as being one of those “high on ability, low on production” guys. Linebacker is a position of strength in Tennessee, so Keglar will have some time to develop while learning from seasoned vets such as Keith Bulluck and David Thornton.
The Titans were in need of some youth at the OLB position, so I understand the Titans’ decision to grab Keglar in the fourth round.
Final Titan 4th round pick: Purdue LB Stanford Keglar

I think this is a good decision to add depth to the linebacker position, but I think we still have larger needs. SUCH AS A FREAKING NUMBER 1 RECIEVER. Hawkins will help, but isn’t the answer to our problems. Cris Carter said he likes our # 2, 3, and 4 WR’s, but we still need a #1, I completly agree. We also need a guard unless the titans are that high on Leroy Harris. And we need a run-stopping DT.

I think that if any of the following guys are still there in the seventh round (I doubt it) we need to pick them up. In order of most important to least important:
1. Frank Okam DT
2. DeMario Pressley DT
3. Nick Hayden DT
4. Roy Scheuing G
5. Robert Felton G
6. Adarius Bowman WR

Okam in the seventh would be an excellent value for a guy who has the physical dimensions of a first-rounder.
His laziness and lack of motivation have probably scared teams away thus far.

Yeah, but somebody (I think the Saints) drafted DeMario Pressley.
P.S. Does anybody know how to apply for the Titans GM job?

Texans got Okam.

Scheuing is gone.

we should take another 7th round cornerback, we have had a lot of luck with those in the past

I agree Kevin G.
I selected CB Brian Witherspoon in my mock draft posted a few weeks ago. He has blazing speed and would be a good developmental prospect.

Corner wouldn’t be a bad choice, but Robert Felton, G is still available. I think we should choose him. I think we should sign Adarius Bowman as a free agent.

I’m sorry my son likes football, but doesn’t really understand this aspect. I am going to have to keep him off my computer. Sorry
