Titans/Jets Q&A exchange

The surprisingly winless Tennessee Titans will travel to the east coast to face the supremely confident (and undefeated) New York Jets next weekend.

In preparation for the matchup, as usual, we’ll be conducting a question/answer exchange with a blogger/writer affiliated with the Titans’ next opponent. This week, I’ll be chatting via email with a Jets blogger/writer to get the inside scoop on what to expect on Sunday.

Anything you’d like to know about the Jets and their success so far? Feel free to leave any questions that you may have in the comments section below.

I’ve been saying it since the draft…the Jets will win their division. That being said, here we are at 0-2, unbelievable. Our D is wretched and KC looks skittish in crunch time. Last year, we were dominated by the Jets in all 3 phases of the game. The biggest concern of ours HAS to be Leon Washington. Okay, questions:
-Knowing we are going to key on Leon, what will the Jets have up their sleeves in anticipation of a less-than-stellar day from the little phenom?
-In all probability, the Jets will be airing it out vs. our D, so will they look to exploit out DBs or LBs in coverage? The Jets 3-4 defense is FAST, and will be keying on stopping CJ. Will they drop 8 or 9 into the box and dare us to throw it? (knowing Revis is a stud DB)
Do the Jets fans expect a letdown of sorts after an impressive two weeks, from the dismantling of Houston to the emotionally charged victory over the Brady bunch? Or is Ryan the type of coach to keep his team…ahem….humble?
-Lastly, are the Jets at all concerned with our passing game? (assuming they know to cover anyone lined up to run routes)
    Thanks and GO TITANS!!!

I am interested in hearing about what the Jets blogger thinks of Vernon Gholston and his future role with the Jets. What impact has he had in first two games this year and will he keep his starting job when Pace returns?

Thanks for the great questions, guys.
I’ll post the answers from the Jets’ blogger probably sometime tomorrow.
