2010 Senior Bowl: Possible Tennessee Titan draft options

Tomorrow, Mobile, Alabama will play host to its annual all-star game that showcases the talents of college football’s best and brightest senior NFL draft prospects.

The Senior Bowl is an excellent opportunity for NFL teams to get a head-start in the lengthy evaluation process that culminates with April’s NFL Draft.

The Tennessee Titans miss Chris Carr

Later today, former Titan/current Baltimore Raven Chris Carr will serve as his new team’s returner and starting cornerback as they face off against Peyton Manning and the Colts.

Meanwhile, back in Nashville, the hurt that stems from the offseason loss of “Mr. Indispensable” still lingers.

As we’ve said on several occasions on Total Titans since Carr’s departure last March, losing the valuable returner/fill-in CB was undoubtedly one of the Titans’ worst offseason decisions in 2009. (more…)

Memo to the Tennessee Titans: Josh Cribbs may be available

One of the most frustrating recurring themes for the Tennessee Titans in 2009 was a lack of production from their return units.

From Ryan Mouton’s problems with the dreaded affliction also known as fumble-itis, Mark Jones’ lingering hamstring issues and a motley crew of others failing to get the job done, Chris Carr’s departure to the “Ratbirds” was felt tremendously.

In news that could possibly pertain to the Titans, Cleveland’s all-world KR/PR Josh Cribbs was insulted by his current employer’s contract offer and has threatened to demand a trade.

I think you know where I’m going with this….should the Tennessee Titans make a run at Cribbs if he’s available? (more…)
